Announcing the 2015 ISA Water/Wastewater Division Student Scholarships – applications due Jan 31,2015

ISA-WWID_2015-scholarship-application_front-pageThe ISA water/wastewater division (WWID) is pleased to announce the 2015 ISA WWID Student Scholarship Program.

Students can apply by filling out the scholarship application formand attaching a 200-word essay on why they should win, a copy of their academic transcript and confirmation of enrollment. The application deadline is January 31, 2015.

The ISA water/wastewater division (WWID) is pleased to award up to $2000 of scholarship money to encourage WWID members, their sons/daughters, and individuals recommended by WWID members to pursue higher education. In addition, winners will receive a complementary 2 year student ISA membership. Applications must be submitted via email by January 31, 2015.

Winners will be notified by February 28, 2015 via telephone and email, and will be required to provide a photo, a short 2-4 sentence biography, and a 1-2 sentence “thank you quote” that can be used for publicity reasons. Scholarship money will be distributed by check and mailed after the winner is contacted and has supplied the required photo/bio/quote. Scholarships will be awarded at the sole discretion of the WWID scholarship committee, with preference being given to students enrolled in technical programs that lead to careers in the water/wastewater sector.
