About the Instructors
Dr. Peter Fuhr has been working in the areas of wireless communications, sensors and photonics for longer than he cares to admit. He was among the earliest group of individuals to embed sensors into various civil structures and helped pioneer the integration of sensors and actuators onto the comm channel that used to be called “The Information Superhighway.” Dr. Fuhr has published and presented over 500 technical articles and holds numerous patents. He serves on numerous industrial, governmental, and corporate advisory boards for companies in the wireless, photonics and nanotechnological areas. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, has served as an ISA Course Developer and Instructor for many years. Dr. Fuhr has received many awards throughout his career including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Research. Mr. Fuhr is active in the ISA100 Wireless Committee.
Kenneth Frische has over 28 years’ experience in providing IT & OT solutions to Oil & Gas, Pharma, Food & Beverage, Packaging, Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Military, Discrete Manufacturing, and Correctional Facilities. His domain expertise includes Process Control and HMI Systems Design and Development, MES integration, Database Management and Design, Business Intelligence / Data Analytics, Business Process Improvement, and Data Warehousing. Mr. Frische has a Computer Science degree from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Oklahoma, and various industry certifications. Mr. Frische currently provides risk assessment services, cyber security consulting, and ISA 62443 IC32 training as a member of the Cyber Security Services department at aeSolutions..
