Spring 2012 issue of ISA water/wastewater newsletter online – “The Symposium Issue”

The ISA Water/Wastewater Industry Division is pleased to announce that the Spring 2012 issue of our newsletter is now available at www.isa.org/wwid/.

The newsletter a wealth of information about this year’s upcoming 2012 WWAC symposium. Full details are provided about the technical program, including information about our Asset Management Keynote, two invited speakers and our guest speakers from WEF and the Florida AWWA. A full two page spread entitled “Program at a Glance” gives you the complete program of over 25 speakers.  Also included are details about the full-day course on cyber security, the water treatment plant tour hosted by Orange County Utilities, and the CEU/PDH credits you can earn by attending.

Features in the Winter 2012 newsletter include a full-length feature interview with long-time WWID member Steve Valdez, the winners for our 2012 WWID student scholarship program, and information about a new ISA book entitled “Successful Istrumentation and Control Systems Design, Second Edition”

We also have two full length technical articles. This first is about design considerations for mitigation harmonics in power systems, and the second is a “best practices” article about how to integrated packaged systems into plant SCADA/DCS systems.
